Week Two of Landscape in Blue. I struggle with abstraction. With focus shifted from the "well, does this adequately represent this thing," to the "how do these visual elements interact," and "how do you unsettle the viewer, to keep them from resolving the image and moving on". This style of constructing a piece requires much more thought, and much less painting. I struggle, but I love it.
